It is absolutely amazing when dear souls you’ve known for a very long time re-emerge from your memories and step right on into your hugging territory.  This is true of Carolyn and Andy.  And, excitedly, their sweetheart on-the-way.  I will never cease to be dazed by the conjoining of friends I’ve known since high school.  It’s a rare and precious thing to celebrate love that has lasted over decades…especially love that shapes itself into a family.
